What is the term of your lease?

Our lease agreement is month to month. We require a 2-month payment upfront, the first month is prorated.

Is there a security deposit?

We do not require a security deposit but we do require you to pay 2 months’ rent up front plus a one-time, $15.00 administration fee.

When is rent due?

Rent is always due on, or before, the 1st of the month, for every tenant.

How to make payments?

  • You can make a payment with the rental office via phone, or in the office, during business hours. 
  • You can pay online at Foxdenstore-it.com. Learn how to create your online account here
  • You can pay with a check, or money order, by mail or dropbox. 
  • We also have an Automatic Payment option that you can set up online or with the rental office.

What forms of payment are accepted?

  • Any type of credit or debit card
  • Check or Money Order
  • NO CASH is accepted
     

How do I move out of my storage unit?

We require a 28-day, written notice to vacate. Your move out date will always be the last day of the month. Options for a written notice are an email, a note or a signed Intent to Vacate form. Leave your unit empty, clean, and unlocked. The lock you were provided during rental is yours to keep.
 

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a 10% discount for military and law enforcement.

Do I need to bring my own lock?

No, we provide you with a brand-new, sealed disc lock that is yours to keep when you move out. You are welcome to use your own lock.

What do I do if I lose the key to my storage unit?

You can make an appointment with the office to get your lock cut. We charge a $35 fee that includes cutting of the lock and a new lock pack.

When can I access my unit?

Fox Den Store-It facilities are open for you to access your unit 24/7. The rental office has business hours.

Are there any prohibited items I cannot store?

Please do not store any food, perishable or nonperishable. Excessive amounts of combustible materials. Examples: paint, gas, oil, tires, firearms, ammunition.

Do the storage units have inside lights or electricity?

A majority of our units do not have lights or electricity. There are a select few units, in most buildings, that will have an outlet. Most units do not have indoor lights, only lights throughout the facility. There is an additional $10 charge for electricity per month and we also have units that have the electricity charge included in the monthly rent.

Can I get a refund?

Fox Den Store-It does not refund prepaid rent or prorate move outs.

Do you offer moving services or sell boxes/packing supplies?

We do not offer any moving services, boxes, or packing supplies.

Do you provide insurance?

Fox Den Store-It does not provide insurance. All tenants are responsible for insuring their belongings. 

What am I able to use my storage unit for?

Fox Den Store-It units are for storage only. You are not able to use the unit as a work space, living space, or to sell items.
